Today I worked at the thrift store so I could figure out how we can make more money from this concept. I felt so blessed that even in the super cold weather and snow, people brought us boxes of treasures. As I was greeting people, sorting thru donations and reorganizing the back room, all I could think about is how many people are depending on me to make the best decisions with this rescue.

This is such a hard job for a me because so many lives are at stake and if I make the wrong decision, then only the animals will pay the price. I am always very careful how I spend every penny because its their money and they are depending on me to spend it wisely. Which is why the closer Feb 28th comes the bigger the pit in my stomach gets.

For those of you that do not know, Our lease at the adoption center ends on Feb 28th. At this time we have no place to go. I have spent over a year trying to figure out the best solution, but no matter what the solution I come up with there's not enough money to make it happen.

We have decided it would be best to close RePets Adoption center till we can catch up on all our bills and then save money for a down payment on a building.
This is important for two reasons, a mortgage is less expensive then rent, and so we don't dump lots of money into a remodle only to have to move again when the lease is up or when the landlord gets a better offer. We also want a fenced in yard and we want our Thrift store and our adoption center to be in next door to each other so they will be a draw for each other.

The Thrift Store will stay open and we will start a savings at National city back once all open invoices are closed to save for when we move to our now location.

We will be doing heavy fundraising so that we can make this transition as soon as possible. Every day we are closed is such a waste of life. We are so proud to have rescued and found homes for over 3000 animals, and we feel strongly that we what we do is Gods work so we must work diligently to raise money and find a new location that best for the animals.

At this time we need prays, we need volunteers and we need money. If you would like to help, please email Tracy:

thank you for your support, prays and donations, may God bless your family as much as he has blessed me with the gift to save helpless animals.
